The National Book Critics Circle has announced the finalists for the 2010 awards.

What a joke. I thought those blurbs on the book regarding nominations meant something! Like nominated for an Academy award means something. But no it is only crass commerce pushing its way into literay circles enticing us to buy and or read. I am really disapointed.
